Why Lula.Cleaning?
Lula.Cleaning is an app from practitioners for practitioners. Why is it so important? It responds to the real needs of its users and eliminates the problems that have occurred so far in their businesses.
Where did the idea for the application come from?
From experience! Michał, our CEO, has been involved in the short-term rental industry for many years, renting apartments himself. For five years he managed his Polish properties remotely, while living in Spain.
At the same time, his previous professional experience related to programming and the interest for automation made him think about simplifying the processes that were previously performed manually in this business.
He noticed a gap in the communication between the owner of the property (or the company managing it) and the cleaning team or cleaning company and decided to fill this gap.
That’s how Lula.Cleaning was created.
Do you know these problems as well?
Distributed communication
Transfer of information through multiple channels between different people: e‑mail, Messenger, WhatsApp, SMS, phone etc.
Many reservation sources
The dispersion of the sources of apartment reservations is a waste of time, an inconvenience and a high possibility of errors. Calendars from Google Calendar, iCal, Airbnb, Booking.com, channel managers are not enough for comfortable work.
Inconvenient information transfer
You always have to remember about information such as: – What time do the guests plan to come? – Do they know what time to leave? – How many people do you need to prepare the premises for? – How to get to the apartment?
Cleaning after, not before
Cleaning the premises should take place after leaving it by the current guests, and not before the next ones arrive. Applications inform about the new reservations, while information is needed after the current check-out.
Apps are not user-friendly
There are solutions that automate the communication process, but they do not have a basis in the everyday life of apartment owners and cleaners. Among others they are uncomfortable to use and lack multilingualism and / or lack of Polish language (and cleaners often speak a different language).
Improper application features
The manually assignment of each cleaning is required, even with a regular cleaning person, which is contrary to the idea of automation. No key information like number of guests or arrival time (!) can be provided.
