Why Lula.Cleaning?

Lula.Cleaning is an app from prac­ti­tio­ners for prac­ti­tio­ners. Why is it so impor­tant? It responds to the real needs of its users and eli­mi­na­tes the pro­blems that have occur­red so far in the­ir busi­nesses.

Where did the idea for the application come from?

From expe­rien­ce! Michał, our CEO, has been invo­lved in the short-term ren­tal indu­stry for many years, ren­ting apart­ments him­self. For five years he mana­ged his Polish pro­per­ties remo­te­ly, whi­le living in Spa­in.

At the same time, his pre­vio­us pro­fes­sio­nal expe­rien­ce rela­ted to pro­gram­ming and the inte­rest for auto­ma­tion made him think abo­ut sim­pli­fy­ing the pro­ces­ses that were pre­vio­usly per­for­med manu­al­ly in this busi­ness.

He noti­ced a gap in the com­mu­ni­ca­tion betwe­en the owner of the pro­per­ty (or the com­pa­ny mana­ging it) and the cle­aning team or cle­aning com­pa­ny and deci­ded to fill this gap.

Distributed communication

Trans­fer of infor­ma­tion thro­ugh mul­ti­ple chan­nels betwe­en dif­fe­rent people: e‑mail, Mes­sen­ger, What­sApp, SMS, pho­ne etc.

Many reservation sources

The disper­sion of the sour­ces of apart­ment rese­rva­tions is a waste of time, an inco­nve­nien­ce and a high possi­bi­li­ty of errors. Calen­dars from Google Calen­dar, iCal, Airbnb, Booking.com, chan­nel mana­gers are not eno­ugh for com­for­ta­ble work.

Inconvenient information transfer

You always have to remem­ber abo­ut infor­ma­tion such as: – What time do the guests plan to come? – Do they know what time to leave? – How many people do you need to pre­pa­re the pre­mi­ses for? – How to get to the apart­ment?

Cleaning after, not before

Cle­aning the pre­mi­ses sho­uld take pla­ce after leaving it by the cur­rent guests, and not befo­re the next ones arri­ve. Appli­ca­tions inform abo­ut the new rese­rva­tions, whi­le infor­ma­tion is needed after the cur­rent check-out.

Apps are not user-friendly

The­re are solu­tions that auto­ma­te the com­mu­ni­ca­tion pro­cess, but they do not have a basis in the eve­ry­day life of apart­ment owners and cle­aners. Among others they are uncom­for­ta­ble to use and lack mul­ti­lin­gu­alism and / or lack of Polish lan­gu­age (and cle­aners often spe­ak a dif­fe­rent lan­gu­age).

Improper application features

The manu­al­ly assi­gn­ment of each cle­aning is requ­ired, even with a regu­lar cle­aning per­son, which is con­tra­ry to the idea of auto­ma­tion. No key infor­ma­tion like num­ber of guests or arri­val time (!) can be pro­vi­ded.
