Does it make sense to use the application if you have only a few apartments?
Definitely! Tasks are automatically assigned to the cleaning team members and you don’t have to worry about looking into the calendar and calling the cleaner. Lula streamlines rental operations no matter if you have, e.g 3, 20, or 400 apartments!
Does it take a lot of time to start using Lula?
No! Just add your properties by assigning calendars from the reservation systems or adding an integration with your channel manager. Reservations will appear in Lula.Cleaning immediately, ready for task scheduling and better cleaning management.
I accepted the reservation by phone – how will the cleaning staff know it needs to be cleaned?
Firstly, if you use a PMS or a channel manager, Lula.Cleaning will read the reservation automatically. Secondly, if you don’t use PMS, you can save your “own reservation” in Lula.Cleaning by specifying the arrival and departure date. You can manually assign a cleaning team member to the cleaning task or let Lula do it automatically. The cleaning team member will get the notification instantly and see the task on their Lula account.
Can I try how the application works?
Of course – create a free account and connect the integration and your properties. If, for some reason, after testing, you find within 14 days that this solution is not for you, you can cancel your Lula account without any obligation.
Do I have to operate in short-term rentals to use Lula?

How is reservation data synchronized with booking systems?
The application reads check-in and check-out dates from calendar files in iCal format from Booking or Airbnb, or through API integration between systems. We are integrated with many channel managers such as Hostify, Hostaway, Rentals United, Stays, Tokeet, Idobooking, Beds24, and many others!
How often are the calendars synchronized?
We update data every 2 hours in the free version. Calendars in paid versions update every 30 minutes.
Do I have to install the application at my housekeeping team’s smartphones?
Lula.Cleaning is a web application – works in the browser, allowing you to instantly access the newest version of the features. All it takes is an individual link pasted into a browser, or one click on a shortcut icon on the home screen.
Both housekeeping staff and managers very much appreciate this solution. There are no problems with the phone model or lack of memory for new applications. The team members do not even have to set up an account in the application.
Do I need an internet access?
The internet is needed to schedule jobs or to download the task list. If the phone loses range, tasks are still available. If needed, they will update when the phone returns to range. Remember also that there is almost always a Wi-Fi connection in the apartments.
